Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By creating an account or using ForgeFit ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
2. The Service
ForgeFit provides AI-generated training and nutrition plans, exercise content, progress tracking, and optional coach check-ins. The Service is provided "as is" — we make no medical claims and the plans are not a substitute for professional medical advice.
⚠️ Medical disclaimer
Consult a doctor before starting any new exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or are taking medication. Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you feel pain, dizziness, or other symptoms.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use ForgeFit.
4. Accounts
- You're responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You're responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person — no account sharing.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Subscriptions, billing & trials
- Paid plans (Basic £19/mo, Pro £49/mo, Elite £149/mo) start with a 7-day free trial. Your card is collected upfront but not charged until day 8.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable. Stripe handles all payments.
- Refunds: we do not offer pro-rata refunds for partial months. If you believe you've been charged in error, email billing@forgefit.app.
- Right to cancel (UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013): you have 14 days from the start of your subscription to cancel for a full refund of any sums already paid. This right applies in full to all our subscription tiers — we do not currently ask you to waive it, so you retain it even after you've accessed AI-generated plans, workout content, or other digital materials. To cancel within the 14-day window, email billing@forgefit.app with your account email and we will process the refund within 14 days.
6. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or redistribute the Service or its content.
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
- Upload content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes others' rights.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, paywalls, or security controls.
- Use the Service to provide a competing product.
7. Intellectual property
All content in the Service (videos, exercise descriptions, generated plans, UI, code) remains our property or the property of our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use it while your subscription is active.
Content you upload (progress photos, notes) remains yours. By uploading, you grant us a license to store and display it back to you and your assigned coach.
8. AI-generated content
Plans, coaching responses, and body-scan analysis are generated by AI (Anthropic Claude). They may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or recommendations unsuitable for your individual circumstances.
⚠️ Not medical, dietary or therapeutic advice
AI-generated content from ForgeFit is not medical, dietary, psychological or therapeutic advice. Do not use it to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Do not start, stop or modify any medication, supplement, treatment, or therapy on the basis of AI output. Always consult a qualified registered healthcare professional (GP, registered dietitian, physiotherapist, or appropriate specialist) before acting on any recommendation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgeFit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or injury arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) £100.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes:
- Our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- Our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- Your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including the right to services performed with reasonable care and skill, and the right to digital content of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described;
- Any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
10. Termination
You may cancel any time from settings. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these Terms, fraud, or non-payment. Upon termination, your access ends but we may retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
